Growing Lettuce is super simple. Sprinkle a bunch of seeds on top of the garden soil, water them in, and watch them grow. It's that easy. I do not worry about spacing. I can pluck some plants completely out of the ground when I want to give the other plants some room to grow bigger.

Starting Peas this week!

I soak my seeds overnight before planting. I love to grow them up cattle panels and trellises.

Since they put out good nitrogen in the soil, I like to plant another crop in front of them. I wait until they are established, and then I add friend (broccoli in this case). Both are cool weather crops.

The succulents are all clippings, so this garden project cost less than five dollars!

PS: I did not put holes in the post. Succulents needs very little water, and I usually spray mine to water them.

Golden Boy Beets by Botanical Interests
These are frost tolerant, so in most zones, they are great to start!

Right before a good rain, I like to plant seeds, especially root veggie seeds. I simply sprinkle the seeds on top of the soil, and I let the rain to the rest of the work!
