HAPPY INDIE ANIMATION DAY EVERYONE! There are several days throughout the year that indie creators such as myself get to celebrate their work, and today is one of them! Indie animation has become such a unique industry for storytelling, and I am so glad that I get to be a part of that. Telling a great, original story with loveable characters and an intriguing plot is what I hope for in making my own series, The Montauk Volumes! Show lots of love to other indie shows and pilots out there, as well! We need all the support we can get!

Helloooo everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve made announcements, so why don’t I let you in on what’s going on?

As of right now, I don’t have a consistent posting schedule due to school. I will merely be posting whenever I get the opportunity. However, when I do post, I have decided that I will alternate between silly animations. I still love TADC and making hilarious animatics for it, so I will continue to do so! Also, since I have been working ever so hard on my indie series, The Montauk Volumes, I will be posting more content related to that as well. In fact, I will be alternating between the two: one week I’ll post TADC, and another week, I’ll post The Montauk Volumes. So, since my latest animation was geared towards my indie series, I am currently cooking up one for Digital Circus!

Finished some concept art for the main cast and crew of The Montauk Volumes! The Montauk Volumes will be a STORYBOARDED PILOT, which means that it will not be fully animated (maybe only bits and pieces). I made these just to get an idea of what Wesley, Zoe, Darby, and Mr. Gags will look like in the storyboards.

I am very happy to announce that the script for The Montauk Volumes pilot (the indie pilot I’m currently working on) is COMPLETE! For the past six months, I have been working hard at writing, editing, and revising the script for my indie pilot, and now, it is finally finished! This means I can now move on to the production side of the pilot!!

This has been such an amazing journey, and it’s only just beginning! I hope you’ll all stick around as I prepare to make this dream a reality! Oh, and here’s some thumbnail drawings of some of the pilot scenes, as well as a sneak peek at the script! 😉 Darby (the youngest main protagonist) and Mr. Gags (her neighbor) were the most fun characters to write! 😂

Helloooo everybody! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! It’s been a while since I updated y’all on the indie series I’m currently working on, and since we’ve got a lot of new subs, I thought I might share about this passion project of mine.

For those who are new, I am working on an indie series called The Montauk Volumes. Here is a very brief summary of the series: three siblings (Wesley, Zoe, and Darby) and their neighbor stumble across an enchanted sketchbook that belonged to their missing father; as a result, they go on an adventure to find him and uncover the origins of the sketchbook. Throughout the series and the children’s adventures, they will come face to face with many strange, magical creatures, some being the cryptids of American folklore (such as Mothman, the Swamp Monster, and Sasquatch). They must be careful, though, because a power hunger cryptid by the name of Fester wants their magical book, and he will stop at nothing to get his hands on it.

Concerning my progress on the series, I’ve made lots of it! I’m about halfway done with the script for the pilot episode, wrapping up the development of the whole series, and getting close to the storyboarding/concept art stage. I have been a bit quiet about it, due to the business of the season, but I am still making good progress!
