Knicks Deli Family,
Over the last couple of months, many of you noticed I wasn’t as consistent. I want to share why.
On December 31, my father—my Pop—passed away. For two months before that, I cared for him every single day. It was an honor, and it changed me.
Pop was the one who introduced me to the New York Knicks. I watched him light up talking about Ewing at Georgetown, lose his mind when the Knicks drafted him No. 1, and smile when he told me his first favorite player was Earl “The Pearl” Monroe. This team wasn’t just basketball in our house—it was memory, tradition, and connection.
One of my favorite moments ever was showing Pop Knicks Deli on the big screen for the first time. He beamed. I beamed. He told me he loved me and that he was proud of me—often. I know not everyone gets to hear that from their father. If you didn’t, I’m sending you love and hope that one day you do. Truly.
To this community: thank you. For the patience, the kind messages, the check-ins, and the positive energy. Knicks Deli isn’t just a channel—it’s a space of support, humor, and real connection. You helped carry me during a heavy season, and I’ll never forget that.
Everything I do from here on out is fueled by love, gratitude, and legacy.
