”and he looked at Jesus as he walked by and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God!”
The two disciples heard him say this, and they followed Jesus.
Jesus turned and saw them following and said to them, “What are you seeking?”
And they said to him, “Rabbi” (which means Teacher), “where are you staying?
He said to them, “Come and you will see.”
So they came and saw where
he was staying, and they
stayed with him that day,
for it was about the tenth hour.“
‭‭John‬ ‭1‬:‭36‬-‭39‬ ‭

Two of John the Baptist’s disciples decided to start following Jesus (most likely John (writer of this Gospel and Andrew)

And Jesus asks this simple question of
“What are you seeking”?

And not just for them but for all of humanity

What are you seeking?
Are you seeking love, are you seeking freedom are you seeking just to forget about the stress in life? Are seeking for people’s approval, money, material. What is it that you seek most?

But in reality these two disciples were either curious or they were really drawn to Jesus.

In reality everyone of us seek and desire something more, something to fill that empty heart. To feel apart of something, to feel loved, chosen for so much, to have some sense of purpose, and in reality we all seek to know Jesus.

Why is that He made us, He created each and every one of us to be in relationship with us. Because a relationship with God is so much more. You truly find peace, joy, rest and freedom and so much more.

God desires to have a relationship with each and every one us because We were made for Him. Without a relationship with God there’s no hope, there’s pain, and brokenness. God is so much more, and loves and cares for you so much.

God sent His Son Jesus to come die on the cross for our sins. Sun separated us from God meaning we were hopeless, and without purpose. But when Jesus came and died and rose again and is now Alive. We can have purpose and live for so much more when being in a relationship with God. He loves you so much.


What are seeking? Do you seek and long for more because in all when you seek Jesus you find all who He is and the truth and everything that you are seeking

Hey everyone I hope you all are having a good Christmas Eve. I want to remind you that if you’re struggling or hurting during this time I want to remind you that there is hope in this season. It’s not about the presents,but about celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus. Who came fully God, fully Man to come and save us from our sins. But the matter that there is a glimmer of hope in this holiday season. God loves you, He has a plan and purpose for your life when you fully trust in all that He has for you. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas.
