Chelsea has been crowned champion of the first FIFA Club World Cup. A well-deserved title after defeating the big favorite, PSG, with a 3-0 thrashing. We cannot deny that PSG is a great team playing very well; however, we cannot ignore the fact that PSG advanced past the quarterfinals and semifinals of this tournament thanks to serious errors by their opponents. They got past the quarterfinals against Bayern thanks to a mistake by Harry Kane, and reached the final by beating Real Madrid in the semifinals after two monumental errors by Asensio and Rüdiger in the first 7 minutes of the match, which ultimately decided the game. Chelsea avoided such mistakes, and this has been the result. Congratulations to Chelsea for being the well-deserved FIFA Club World Cup champion!
