Comet C/2025 R2 SWAN as observed from Nainital,
Not an unaided eye comet so far.
Able to capture it on Nikon D5300 at 300mm at bottle 4 sky from Nainital, Uttarakhand.
Comet was discovered just on 12 September 2025, and very few observations are available. COBS website shows its brightness around +6.0. All the brightness marked in the image is referenced from the Stellarium web app.

Manual Barn Door Tracker in Action (image02 of BDT). After four years, I used the Bard Door tracker to check its accuracy with the 35 mm on Nikon D5300. But the problem was that the location is south-facing, so Polaris is not visible. So I have to manually align the tracker. Although I only took on 14 light frames, the result is quite promising.
Image shows the NGC 7000 (North America Nebula), IC 5070 (Pelican Nebula), and IC 1318 (The Gamma Cygni Nebula) near the Denab and Sadr Star.
14 Light frames, 2 min exposure each,
04 Dark frames, 15 Flats, 15 Bias, and 15 Dark Flats
A total of 28 minutes of exposure.
Gear Nikon D5300 @35mm with manual Bard Door Tracker. Edited in Lightroom.

This is about the Manual Barn Door Tracker i build, you are looking at the 3 minute exposure on Nikon D5300 @18mm tracked and untracked. The photos are cropped to show the trailing on the stars.
The startrail is nearly gone.
I am also able to align the tracker without polaris in sight.
