Sometimes, our long-term struggles (whether it’s a destructive habit, a toxic relationship, a cycle of debt, or a deep-seated bitterness) become strangely comfortable. We get used to the routine of our pain. It's predictable.
Deliverance requires Change: To be healed means losing the excuse, losing the comfortable identity, and walking into the terrifying unknown of a changed life. Jesus was asking, "Are you truly ready to lose the crutch and take responsibility for your new, free life?"
In whatever struggle you face today—whether it's an addiction, crushing anxiety, deep unforgiveness, a financial crisis, or even spiritual apathy—Jesus stands before you and asks: Do you truly want deliverance? Are you willing to trade the comfort of your excuse for the demanding reality of freedom?
