Too often do I find myself trying to fit a mold. Somewhere down the line I thought things ought to be a certain way, as if there was a "normal" to fulfill, and that I would be wrong to deviate from it. But time and again I learn that "normal" is a fallacy; there is no "normal."

So I think I am just going to make whatever I feel. I composed something that isn't synthwave. Expect a rebranding of sorts. Some of y'all may hate it; some of y'all may enjoy it. I'll accept whatever outcome.

I won't be releasing any shorts this week. A winter storm has really screwed up the week. I've been chiseling through ice for the past 2 days.

Here's something about me: I hate genres. The sheer number of categories and theories around the debate and discussion of genres is confusing as hell.

I did some analysis, and I guess my upcoming EP is more darksynth and darkwave than anything else.

I thought I was a synthwave guy, but maybe it's more than that. I see that Lunar Tide was pretty popular, and that's the most synthwave-y song I have in my discography.

So if you've been here and have been misled by my genre posting and tagging, I'm sorry. I just get confused about what to call what im hearing. Generally, I just compose something and stick with it because I think it sounds cool.

That being said, expect The Underground to be a darksynth/darkwave/cyberwave style EP.

So the full EP is out. Scandals is wrapped up and in the books. I remember I made a short announcement video about "Axiom." So that will be a part of another EP project which is in the later stages of production.

Just a heads up. Things will change up from time to time here. There are aspects I still have yet to discover about myself, including about my own craft. Nevertheless, I'm working on music and honing in on where it's all going.
