Vimal Kumar is a veteran sports journalist with over 25 years of experience, having covered multiple Cricket World Cups (ODI & T20), Asia Cups, the WTC Final, and the Rio Olympics. He spent nearly 15 years as Sports Editor at Network18 and also worked with Aaj Tak/Headlines Today.

A familiar face on global platforms like BBC World and TRT World, Vimal has authored books including Sachin – Cricketer of the Century (Penguin), Cricket Fanatic’s Essential Guide, and Life Lessons from Cricket (Jaico, 2025).
