In this video, I share the inspiring story of Hazrat Abu Dardaa (رضي الله عنه) accepting Islam. Abu Dardaa (رضي الله عنه) was once deeply devoted to idol worship, treating his idol with great care and respect. However, his close friend, Hazrat Abdullah bin Rawwaaha (رضي الله عنه), who had already embraced Islam, wanted to guide him towards the truth. One day, Hazrat Abdullah broke Abu Dardaa’s idol with an axe while reciting the powerful words, "Everything that is worshipped besides Allah is false."
When Abu Dardaa returned home and saw the broken idol, his anger quickly turned into deep reflection. He realized, "If this idol was truly a god, it would have protected itself." This thought led him to embrace Islam and join the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and his companions.
