In this video I made a simple and easy VU meter using LEDs, resistors and 1N4007 diodes. This audio level indicator works without any IC or transistor and shows sound intensity in real time. You can connect it with mobile phone, amplifier or any audio source. It is a perfect project for beginners who want to learn basic electronics and audio circuits.
This LED VU meter circuit is low cost and easy to build at home. The diodes control the signal levels and each LED glows according to the audio strength. You can modify the number of LEDs and resistor values to get better sensitivity. Great project for school, college and electronics hobbyists.
