Preparation Time- 30 Minutes
Ingredients:
Ghee- 2 tbsp
Grated Coconut- 150 grams
Sugar- 2,1/2 cup
Powder dry fruits- 1 cup
(Almond,pesta,cashew/kaju)
Elaichi(cardamom) powder- 1/2 cup
Salt- 1/2 tbsp
Water- 1 cup
Madia- 2 cup
Oil for frying
For preparation:
Make a dough of madia with salt, heated oil, water. Rest it for 10 minutes.
Till madia is resting let’s make stuffing for fired modak.
Take a pan for stuffing, add ghee, followed by grated coconut, sugar, powder dry fruits,cook until it turns golden brown colour.
Make puri of madia, add stuffing in it, follow the steps shown in video.
Heat up oil.
Add modak to it.
Fry it till it turns golden brown.
