🥚A relatively inexpensive and long-underrated food, eggs are finally being promoted as beneficial and functional for our health... not only by my personal, family, and professional experience, and that of the many people who regularly share their experiences with me, but also by numerous studies (which I'll share later 👇🏼), which have verified their properties and role in our well-being.
✅They are rich in macronutrients and micronutrients essential for our health, providing benefits on multiple levels and to multiple body systems... from the heart to the cardiovascular system as a whole, from the brain to the liver, from the skin to the muscles... and so much more!!!
➡️Integrated daily into a healthy, varied, and balanced diet, they perform important nutritional, stimulating, protective, and therapeutic functions.
💚Clearly, however, we must consume quality eggs: if we don't have the opportunity to raise chickens, or buy them from neighbors or relatives, or from farms... well, we need to choose organic eggs, not out of prejudice, on the contrary, but because, given the type of feeding, breeding, and care of the chickens... they are the best alternative to domestic eggs, both in terms of nutritional content and the control of any synthetic substances that are best avoided.
That said, it's important to note that a small percentage of people should avoid or limit their egg consumption:
those with allergies/sensitivity
those with gallstones (avoid the yolk)
I also recommend that those with kidney failure consult a doctor/nutritionist.
❇️ Studies
Eating 6 eggs a week can reduce the risk of death from a silent killer disease by 29%.
