Spring onion - 1big bunch
Paneer - 200 gms
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
2 teaspoons chopped garlic
Finely chopped white part of green onions
2 tsp chopped green chilies
2 large tomatoes pureed
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp red chili powder
½ tsp turmeric powder
salt to taste
½ teaspoon garam masala powder
Wash and chop the spring onions and separate the white and green part before chopping.
Fry the paneer pieces and soak in water.
Heat some oil. Add 1 piece of cinnamon and 3 cloves to it. Add jeera, garlic and saute till garlic is slighty browed. Add chopped chillies and green onion and saute till the onions turn translucent. Once done, add the pureed tomato with ketchup and mix well. Add all the spice powders and mix once again. cover and cook till the gravy is well cooked and the oil separates. Now add the chopped green leaves along with soaked paneer and milk mix it well and cover and cook for few minutes. Finally check the salt and add little garam masala and Paneer Hara Pyaaz is ready to be served.
