On our recent visit to Mawkyrduk Monolith, Southwest Khasi Hills, we were disheartened to see litter scattered around this sacred site.
These monoliths hold deep significance in Khasi tradition and culture, standing as ancient symbols of our roots and heritage.
It’s our duty and responsibility to keep such places clean, green, and respected — because they tell the story of who we are and where we come from.
Honestly, it’s disappointing to witness such carelessness in a place so beautiful and meaningful.
So here’s a humble request — wherever you travel, please don’t litter.
Let’s keep Meghalaya clean and green and continue to protect Mother Nature like we always do.
Please share or repost this video to spread awareness. Khublei Shibun!
