My grandmother died of cancer.
By then we—her grandchildren—were all adults. But one question kept nagging at us:
How did someone who ate clean food and lived a simple life get cancer?
That question made me want to learn more about cancer and how the human body works. One thing I realized was this—health is not just about good food and habits. The body needs connection to nature, physical activity, and sunlight.
She ate well. But she spent most of her life indoors. Her body didn’t get enough sunlight. Over time, that disconnection from nature must have affected her physical strength. After seeing the pain she went through, I decided that others shouldn’t ignore this.
So every year on Cancer Day, I share this reminder, not to scare people—but to create awareness about the body.
Take care of this blessed body we have got 🌟
Good food, movement, connection with nature—all three are essential ❤️
My grandmother passed away due to cancer.
At that time, we—her grandchildren—were already adults, and one question kept haunting us: How did she get cancer despite eating clean and living a healthy lifestyle?
That question pushed me to learn more about cancer and the body. What I understood is this—health is not just about good food and habits. Our bodies also need natural rhythms, movement, and sunlight to function better.
Although she ate well and lived simply, she spent most of her life indoors. Over time, that lack of connection with nature may have affected her overall vitality. Especially without any exposure to sunlight.
Watching her suffer made me promise myself that I would spread awareness—so others don't ignore their bodies the way we often do.
On Cancer Day every year, I share this reminder with my people—not to create fear, but to encourage mindfulness.
Take care of your blessed body 🌟
Move, nourish it well, and stay connected to nature ❤️
