The Virgin of Guadalupe appeared five times between December 9th and 12th, 1531. Four times to Juan Diego and once to Juan Bernardino, to whom she revealed her name: "The Ever-Virgin Holy Mary of Guadalupe."
Finally, the image was imprinted on Juan Diego's tilma, which is preserved to this day in the Basilica of Guadalupe.
