While everyone looks for tigers, these rare Striped Hyena cubs are the real surprise of the Indian jungle. Unlike the 'laughing' spotted hyenas of Africa, the Indian Striped Hyena is elusive, solitary, and mostly comes out at night.
Seeing cubs this small in the open is a once-in-a-lifetime sighting! These little ones are vital to the ecosystem, helping keep the forest floor clean.
