Budget Decrease, Dedi Mulyadi Continuing to Build 24 New Schools Amidst Deficit
West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi is continuing his educational infrastructure development by building 24 new schools in West Java.
Despite a decrease in the 2026 Regional Transfer (TKD) funds to Rp 2.4 trillion, the West Java Provincial Government is still allocating Rp 112.5 billion for the construction of 17 public senior high schools (SMA), 4 vocational high schools (SMK), and 3 special needs schools (SLB). Previously, 12 schools had been built with a budget of Rp 102.5 billion.
The target is to add around 5,000 students and begin operations in 2027.
