AsafoetidaMoong dal Vada Indian evening snack | Moong Dal Vada Recipe | Moong Dal Pakoda | Ingredients: For paste: Moong dal - 1cup Finely chopped ingredients: Onion - 1 Ginger garlic paste - 1/2tsp Turmeric powder - 1/4tsp Coriander leaves - 2tbsp Curry leaves - 1tbsp Green chili - 2 Red chili powder - 1tsp Asafoetida (Hing) - 1/2tsp Salt to taste Oil for frying • Rinse and soak moong dal for about 2-3hrs till the dal softens. • Grind the soaked moong dal with a bit of water and make a fine paste. • Mix the paste with all the spices mentioned till you get a consistent mixture. • Take small portions of the batter and deep fry till they are crispy.
