1977 “The Grand Illusion” - so many memories "Fooling Yourself (The Angry Young Man)" by Styx written and sung by guitarist Tommy Shaw, from their 1977 album The Grand Illusion. The song was initially based on Shaw's perception of keyboardist Dennis DeYoung as an "angry young man" who was wary of the band's success and grew frustrated with setbacks. The album was a major success, propelling Styx to stardom and spawning hit singles like "Come Sail Away" and "Fooling Yourself".  #Styx #FoolingYourself #highschool #memories #PortStanleyLegion #CoverSongs #Gigs #musician #livemusic #acousticguitar #SupportLocal #stthomas #portstanley #stthomasproud #elgincounty #ExploreRailwayCity #railwaycitytourism #discoverON #explorecanada #ontsouthwest #Ontario #Canada #canadatogether #MakingFriends #LivingLife #OneSongAtaTime #MakingFriendsOneSongAtaTime #LivingLifeOneSongAtaTime #johnmillesmusic
