Mechanical Failure can kill your day on the Lake. It tried to ruin mine before I even headed out. I went to check the trolling motor and the reset switch I bought less than 6 weeks ago was broken. It would not stay closed so we could not power the trolling motor. I had 8 seniors on the way to meet me at the boat ramp. The lake is trolling only so i had to make something happen and quick.
I got the vise grips out and straight wired it and headed to the lake. The trip went great and afterwards I went to O'Reillys to see if they had another switch. They said no and 3 employees there could not even find it to order me another one. I went on Amazon and had one the next day and the boat is ready to go again!
