Healthy and delicious kollu/horse gram chutney for rice, idli, and dosa! Learn how to make this delicious kollu chutney.
Ingredients:-
Horsegram (kollu)- 1cup
Asafotedia (perungayam)-1tsp
Garlic -10-12
Red chilli -10
Tamarind (puli)
Salt
Tempering:
Oil
Mustard Seeds
Urad dal
Curry leaves
Method:
1. Dry roast horse gram on low flame until aromatic.
2. Heat sesame oil, add garlic, red chilies, and curry leaves. Roast until crisp.
3. Grind roasted horse gram into a fine powder and add the rest of the roasted ingredients, tamarind, salt, and little water if needed. Grind into a smooth chutney.
5. Enjoy with Idly, Dosa and hot rice with a drop of ghee – healthy, simple & super tasty! 🌿🍚
