When rain overflows or becomes too heavy, the Prophet ﷺ taught us a beautiful dua to ask Allah for protection and mercy:
اللَّهُمَّ حَوَالَيْنَا وَلَا عَلَيْنَا،
اللَّهُمَّ عَلَى الآكَامِ وَالظِّرَابِ،
وَبُطُونِ الأَوْدِيَةِ،
وَمَنَابِتِ الشَّجَرِ
✨ Ya Allah, let the rain be around us and not upon us. Let it fall on the hills, the highlands, the valleys, and the places where trees grow.
May Allah keep us safe and shower mercy upon all. 🤲🌧
