Something is stirring in California. You can feel it. It’s as if a conflict is being quietly provoked — a civil war not born overnight, but whispered into existence over years of division.
But the real fire lies deeper. It's not just politics or protests — it's history. A history that was never truly faced.
The truth is, America has carried a burden it never wanted to admit. Arrogance, denial, and a deep lack of remorse — especially in how this nation treated its First Peoples. Indigenous nations were pushed aside, broken, stripped of their lands and their dignity. Sent to reservations — left to wither, while the world looked away.
But the past doesn’t disappear just because you pretend it never happened. You can sweep it under a thousand rugs — it will still rise. It always does. Because the past is alive. It breathes. And it waits.
America will be forced to face its shadows. Not through force, not through pride — but through truth. Through humility.
