The Indian Institute of Creative Technologies (IICT) is a new Indian government initiative, established in Mumbai (operating from NFDC) and modeled after IITs/IIMs, to develop world-class talent and leadership in the Animation, VFX, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality (AVGC-XR) sectors, focusing on industry-aligned training, R&D, and global collaboration with tech giants like Google, Meta, and NVIDIA, aiming to make India a creative tech superpower.
