Meher Angez was born in Murtaza Abad, a remote village in Hunza valley in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan. Since her childhood, she was naturally inclined towards devotional practices. Due to her prodigious qualities, since her childhood, she has started to make her presence felt among the circles which have a passion for devotional music. She is the first and only lady singer from the GB region who has devoted herself to appeal the subtle and esoteric feelings, which are the springboard for the positive forces in humans. She crossed many milestones in various fields of music by inspiring interfaith harmony, love of our homeland and equality of humanity in general. Due to her persistent efforts, she has now become a symbol of the appreciation of exalted love through the medium of music and a household name among the local communities in particular and the Central Asian region in general.
