My late dad started We Culture Nola and I want to continue to highlight local New Orleans music, food, people and culture that is not shown in mainstream. The non commercialized version of the city and surrounding areas.

We are a generation from first families of New Orleans, “The last of the native New Orleanians”. We are creating & keeping history alive while we are still here, before the city becomes a place of no roots & tour guides try to tell our stories. I would like for those who knew of their ancestors who actually lived in the 19th century to share their story on this channel. Not to many of us 8+ generations exist in the city, so I will start with my family and hopefully the channel will grow for others to share their family history of New Orleans.

I’m ready to END gatekeeping in music before the whole industry is taken over by Ai. Bad enough the KIDZBOP generation doesn’t know good music or what real instruments sound like, now this generation will be hypnotized by computerized sounds and auto tune.
I went live earlier as a DJ playing my favorite underground artist Lord Nexus who not only writes, but also composes, arranges and produces his music that is played by REAL MUSICIANS WITH ACTUAL instruments. I will be on tonight to play his music again.
