My name is Melissa and I'm a zero base budgeter. I'm married with two young children. My husband and I both have full-time jobs. We combine our income into one account. We make all of our payments from that account. We transfer an allowance (blow money) and gas money from our joint account into our separate personal accounts. We have been budgeting this way our whole marriage (13 years). I recently discovered savings challenges. I think it adds fun to our budgeting system.
