A Spawn Movie Movie Is NOT Going to Happen!
We all want it, but Its creator Todd Mcfarlane is just too hard to work with. He not only wanted to write the screenplay but he wanted to direct too. Who is going to let someone who never directed a film before have a $150 million budget. So Todds control freak mindset is in the way.
If you missed this I made this video in 2023 and it still stands. We are nowhere near getting this. Yes Jaime Foxx was named to play the lead but Jaime is nearly 60 years old now. Hes not getting younger, you are going to have to recast AGAIN. image #4 is a fan made image of what he might look like as Al Simmons but thats all we are gonna get from him is fan made art or AI.

This is the REJECTED cover for Fantastic Four #52 the first appearance of Black Panther in 1966. As you can see this version doesn't have a full mask her is wearing a cowl that makes him look a lot like BATMAN. So why did They change this to the version we know. (image 2 the historical FF #52)?
Marvel never completely addressed this but my theory is that wearing the cowl confirmed that he was BLACK and a Black character especially a heroic action hero could run into problems in distribution in the deep south. Remember this is 1966. Racism is literally written into the law.
Ironically Marvel produced a character called Ultimate Black Panther which pays homage to the original design by Jack Kirby that rocks the cowl.
2026 is the 60th annniversary of Black Panther and in honor of that I am producing a ton of Content about King Tchalla and my first "History of Black Panther" video goes over the details of the cowl controversy! So if you got about 30 minutes. watch this on your TV and sit back and relax!
