John R. Shipp is an artist who makes pictures out of cut paper glued onto posterboard. He learned this cut paper art method from his father who is self-taught. John found the hidden multi-reference method on his own, when studying the old masters, who were taking parts from several artworks by another artist an incorporating it into a single artwork of their own.
