THE EINES
The name "the eines" might seem enigmatic, but its origin is refreshingly straightforward. For this Toronto-based band, the moniker is a tongue-in-cheek nod to their creative catalysts: caffeine, codeine, and nicotine-or "the ones" that fuel their art. The Eines are a group of high school musician friends who have been making music together since the mid-90s. With a history of airplay on college radio, CBC, and commercial rock stations, as well as glowing reviews in regional and national publications, the Eines have built a reputation for their catchy, melodic rock. They've taken their energetic live show on the road, performing from coast to coast and showcasing at Toronto's esteemed music festivals, NXNE and CMW. Their music is a raw, relatable reflection of the human experience-both the highs and lows-set to infectious hooks that'll have you tapping your foot in no time.
