Hi!
I am a self-taught guitarist and composer from Poland. I started playing the guitar when I was 12 year old. I got to know bossa-nova music very early and this had a great impact on my composing style. Apart from playing my own pieces, I also like interpretting other composers such as Antonio Carlos Jobim, Leo Brouwer, Roland Dyens, Carlo Domeniconi, Astor Piazzolla and Paulo Bellinati.
I was awarded 3rd and 2nd places at the Polish guitar competition "Bliżej gitary" in May 2001 and 2003, respectively. More recently, I received two equal distinctions for "Sonatina" and "Variations on a Polish traditional song" at the Guitar Composition Competition for Polish composers in Żory on February 23, 2013. I am planning to record and upload these pieces some day.
Despite that the music is only my hobby (I have a PhD in plant genetics), I hope You will enjoy watching my videos!
