Judith Rae is a multimedia storyteller and speaker whose work is rooted in photography, film, and audio. Her practice is guided by the intention to create spaces where people feel celebrated.
Raised between New York City, Rio de Janeiro, and Bahia, Brazil, and becoming a mother at thirteen, Judith learned to allow adversity to fuel her creativity. Pushing past social bias and disrupting what people believe is possible for themselves and their communities.
Through her work, Judith honors the resilience and beauty of the human experience, inviting others to reconnect with their own sense of possibility.
Recognized internationally, Judith has been named by Harper’s BAZAAR one of the Top Wedding Photographers in the world, and her imagery has been exhibited and commissioned by cultural institutions, nonprofits, and private clients.
Creator of Women Who Surf and co-creator of The Portrait Project, community-based initiatives centered on storytelling, perseverance, and expression.
