The Business of Africa

The Business of Africa is a guide for the thinkers, builders, and dreamers shaping Africa’s tomorrow - drawn from research, context, and lived experience.

This channel exists because we refuse to accept that a continent so rich in people, culture, intellect, and resources must remain trapped in cycles of underperformance and mismanagement. Through deep dives and case studies, we examine leadership, infrastructure, aid and dependency, agriculture, fashion, tourism, and the cost of poor management.

We explore the lessons history and geography teach, the opportunities of the present, and the ideas shaping Africa’s future. We ask the hard questions:
- Why do systems fail when talent is abundant?
- Why does value leave the continent even when resources remain?
- Why do policies sound good on paper but collapse in practice?

Africa is not poor — but it is often poorly structured and poorly served.

This is for the outliers.
The disruptors.
The solutionists.

The future of Africa is now.
