Born in the District of Columbia on May 27th, 1994, Malik Naim began as a surprise to this world. His mother called him her miracle as the doctors told his parents they could no longer have children. This surprise blessed him with a boundless love from all that surrounded him. In 2007, Malik picked up a pen and never put it down. By the end of his seventh-grade year, he had made over two thousand songs and poems. While each one lingered on to his childish ideals of a world he only saw as beautiful, it was in 2010 when this view of life altered. The passing of his grandfather changed many things about him, and it shifted his art to embody not only life but also death. Several years after the tragedy of losing his grandfather, he lost his grandmother in 2017, leading him to reinvent himself through writing, composing and performing. This channel is the outcome of his tragedies and accomplishments.
