Hi, I’m Jami.

I became a yoga teacher because of my son, Judson.
He inspired me deeply while he was alive,
and he continues to inspire me now—as my angel.

After losing Judson in 2021, my world cracked open.
I fell into deep grief.
Healing has been messy and painful,
and also filled with love, grace, and moments of divine support.

Yoga helped save my life.
It gave me somewhere to breathe, feel, and stay present.

I created this channel for anyone who is hurting—
from grief, trauma, depression, or loss.
Especially child loss.
If that’s you, please know:
I see you.
You are not alone.
You are welcome here.

You’ll find yoga for every body and every season—
from Gentle Gentle and Chair Yoga
to more challenging flows.
Some days healing looks like rest.
Other days it looks like strength.
Both are yoga.
Both are enough.

This work is my offering.
My way of honoring Judson.
And my way of continuing forward—for him, and for you.

Thank you for being here.
Big love,
Jami

Sometimes, you just have to turn up the heat a little!

I teach numerous gentle yoga classes per week, and they are awesome, but sometimes, my body and soul need a little more! I am so jazzed to have a few adventurous souls at the Siskiyou Family Y who are open to exploring their edge once in awhile! :)

In this flow, we added directional & level changes, challenging our balance and physiological response time. We started by practicing the foundational postures, repeating them to build muscle memory, and then transitioning into a flow while syncing our breath with movement.

I always present the postures as an invitation, allowing students to modify for their own needs to keep it safe, effective and fun.

It's truly remarkable what our bodies can achieve when we learn piece by piece, break things down, keep it simple and progress slowly.

In memory of my son, who was the inspiration for me becoming a yoga teacher, I am forever grateful and in awe of his character, loving heart, and beautiful soul. 34 months today.

Losing my son has definitely changed the way I have "fun." Yoga has helped me to go deep inside for the answers.

Breathe Mama, breathe.
