Coachella Music Festival performing artist Cara Frew is a South African born singer-songwriter whose music is wrapped in pop vocals and an earthy feel, with organic elements that are driven by acoustic guitar and African drums. Cara’s debut album, “Flame,” was released through Sony Music Entertainment worldwide, with her, “You Got Me,” reaching over ten million plays on Spotify & Soundcloud and album spiking interest as she opened for internationally acclaimed UK band "The Script" on the South African leg of their world tour.
On home soil, Cara joined forces with one of Africa’s biggest exports, world-renowned DJ and music producer - Black Coffee. “l’ll Find You” was the first release off Black Coffee’s 2015 album. The collaboration afforded Cara the opportunity to perform at Ultra Music Festival Miami, Ultra Music Festival South Africa and Sonar Johannesburg.
She has had five #1 hits on South Africa radio and studied at Berklee College of Music.
