Max Auton is a diverse producer , DJ and multi-instrumentalist who brings vibes, bass, and rhythm to the forefront of his music.
During his college years, dubstep caught his ear immediately. Max produced under 'Bonzi', predominantly producing and releasing dubstep and grime.
In 2019 he paired up with his close friend to create Gold 88, with an aim of taking his music in a different direction. During this time, they gained record deals under Sony's B1 and Ministry of Sound. Had releases under Perfect Havoc, blackhole and many more. They gained support and recognition from a variety of known artists and were played on Love Island, MTV, BBC Radio 1, which they were awarded Song of the Week for a number of weeks.
Max decided after 3 years to go solo under the name 'MAKSI'. He released songs such as Rhythm Mover and ONMA. Feeling unsettled with his identity, Max finally decided to stick with his birth name with an aim to create music that is authentically him.
