Not from a competitor. Not from a recession. From breaking trust.
Here's the breakdown:
๐ Nov 2025 โ 33 million users' data leaked
๐ Coupang's response โ called it "exposure" not "breach," offered re-signup coupons, CEO refused to appear before National Assembly
๐ Korean consumers organized "ํํก" (quit Coupang) movement
๐ Result โ daily card transactions dropped โฉ5.6B (~$3.9M), 7% decline. During holiday season, when every other retailer went up.
Sound familiar?
In 2019, Korea launched the NO Japan boycott. Uniqlo stores emptied. Japanese beer imports dropped 97%.
Korean consumers don't just leave angry reviews. They organize, trend hashtags, and follow through.
The lesson for any brand eyeing Korea:

[ํ] 7 Things I Learned This January (Birthday Edition ๐/์์ผ๊ธฐ๋ 1์ ๊ฒฐ์ฐ)
1. January was intense, but overall a net positive. Iโm proud that more clients are finding us, trusting us, and recognizing our work.
2. One big realization: you canโt really change peopleโbut environment changes everything. If you want to grow, you need to place yourself where growth is inevitable.
3. Rejection has become fuel. It stings for a moment, but then my focus sharpens and performance spikes. Feedbackโgood or badโis always better than silence.
4. Lately, my body feels the cost of ambition. Iโm learning to optimize energy, not just effort.
5. One thing hasnโt changed: becoming a #1 global marketer. Through my business or my clientsโeither way.
6. Premium positioning taught me this: a proposal has to make sense to me and to the other side. Authenticity is non-negotiable.
7. AI is unlocking new possibilities, and Iโm building something that will support more repetitive revenue this year.

Whenever you feel like youโre failing, hereโs what I do โ I keep taking action.
Even when I donโt feel like it. Even when everything feels like itโs not working.
Because feelings come and go.
And I never want to be trapped by emotions that tell me to stop.
For example, there are times when I have meetings with potential clients โ and things donโt turn out as I expected.
I could spend days overthinking:
โWhy didnโt it work out?โ
โDid I miss something?โ
โAre we not a good fit?โ
But instead, I focus on what I can do:
โ create content,
โ attract new clients,
โ network,
โ or start a new collaboration.
Sometimes losing one opportunity just means youโre making space for another one.
So again โ you can create your own system.
You can build your own breakthrough.
You have the power to reinvent yourself and make the situation better.
Trust yourself.
Trust your process.
