I'm Randy, a farm kid from Southern Missouri. I grew up around storytellers, old movies, and older cultural traditions. At 27 I snuck out of the hills and wandered into Architecture and then Academia. I ended up leaving academia due to "Irreconcilable Differences" as I didn't fit into their neat boxes. These days I'm here on YouTube talking about Beauty, Meaning, and why they matter in a chaotic world. I'm interested in everything from buildings, movies, to cultural myths.

This channel is about sitting down with friends and pulling apart ideas until they make sense, Remembering why we care about ideas like home and why stories use to tell deeper truths.
