Ten days in Antarctica on MS Fridtjof Nansen, led by Torstein, set the bar for what a real expedition should feel like. We’ve now sailed with him in both Antarctica and the Arctic/Greenland, and he’s easily the most impressive expedition leader we’ve had: calm, incredibly experienced, and always balancing safety with getting us out into the ice and wildlife as much as possible.
