Hey hey! Here’s a quick primer based on recent takedowns by YT on what can be uploaded safely making fan content:
1) Significant changes to the content - no removing the intro and outro and stitching a bunch of eps together unchanged. Best of content, remixes, etc… is totally fine! Great examples are: Sbassbear, LesmoBestOf. Please tag the episodes you used in your video in the description! See: YouTube’s Monetization Policy
2) Don’t use our logo, thumbnails, or assets - always make unique thumbnails for all your uploads. The GG logo, assets/custom art, and our thumbnails can be claimed as copyright by YT. See: YouTube’s Copyright Policy
3) Don’t brand yourself as affiliated or rely on the GG identity/logo/assets to name your channel. Don’t use ‘Game Grumps’ in your channel name or the GG logo as your display picture. See: YouTube’s Impersonization Policy
